FAQ
Questions people ask before they start
Is the LinkedIn extension allowed? Can it get my account restricted?
The extension saves the profile you have open, when you click. It does not browse, scroll, connect or message for you, and it never contacts LinkedIn on its own. Deelbert is not affiliated with LinkedIn. Any browser extension used on LinkedIn carries some risk for your account under LinkedIn's terms, and we would rather tell you than hide it. You can also work without the extension by importing CVs.
Which browsers does the extension work in?
Chrome, Edge and Brave. The Chrome Web Store listing is in review; until it is approved, you download the extension from your account and load it in your browser, which takes about two minutes. Firefox support is in testing, and Safari is not available yet.
How accurate is the AI?
It is good at pulling structure out of a profile or CV: skills, seniority, experience, languages. It is not perfect, so every field stays editable, and anything the text does not state is left blank instead of guessed. Job fit is a second opinion with strengths and gaps; the decision is always yours.
Where is my data stored? What about GDPR?
Your data is stored in Frankfurt, Germany, in the EU, and encrypted in transit. You can export it anytime and delete a candidate for good in one click. For candidate and employee data, your organization is the data controller and Deelbert is the processor. AI features send the text they work on to our AI provider, one request at a time. The provider, its location (currently outside the EU) and what it sees are listed in our Privacy Policy.
Does Deelbert work in Romanian?
Yes. The whole app is available in English and Romanian, and everyone picks their own language in one click. AI output follows your account language, and Romanian HR documents are generated in Romanian.
Can I get an invoice for my company?
Yes. At checkout, add your billing address and your company's VAT ID (CUI). We issue an invoice with your company details for every payment. Pro costs €15 a month, VAT included.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from Settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then your workspace moves to Free. Nothing is deleted: above the Free limits you can still see and edit everything, you just cannot add more.
My candidates are in Excel. Can I bring them over?
Most people start fresh and let Deelbert fill up as they work: capture profiles as you open them and import CVs in PDF or Word. There is no spreadsheet import for candidates yet; if you have a large sheet, write to us and we will look at it with you. For company data, employees import from a spreadsheet (CSV), with a preview before anything is saved.
How does Enterprise work for a company?
Company management is set up with you, not self-serve. Talk to us about your company; we switch on the modules, import your people and configure leave and approvals together, and then your team goes live. Pricing is agreed with you before you start.
Does the AI make decisions about candidates or employees?
No. AI suggests, people decide. It never rejects a candidate, changes a status or approves a request. The company modules work without AI; the one optional AI helper there pre-fills a form from an ID document you upload.
